TC Work App
The Work App is the primary interface for Topcoder’s clients - enterprise-level organizations - that rely on Topcoder’s platform to access and manage top-tier remote talent.
As the main hub, the Work App empowers clients to launch and run concurrent streams of work, out to a global talent pool, from the palm of their hand. The UX approach was focused on making the app intuitive, efficient, and visually clear to support clients in handling multiple projects with ease and confidence.
Human problem solved
We took a utilitarian approach to minimize visual clutter and reduce cognitive load while retaining the vibrancy of the established Topcoder brand. We created a streamlined and effective interface that allowed for focused, productive use, for enterprise users who are often managing multiple work streams and projects on Topcoder in parallel.
The work accounted for key interactions that previously were cumbersome to operate, hard to locate, and underutilized by clients. The new Work App made it simple to:
- Input & launch new projects
- Communicate & collaborate with “gig” talent working on the project(s)
- Manage concurrent work streams
- Review, approve, and receive deliverables
We worked with their platform team throughout to ensure the desired user experiences were technically achievable.
